Can I request a flower substitution in my Mother’s Day arrangement?
Yes, Acorn Floral can provide flower substitutions, depending upon availability. During high order volume holidays, such as Mother’s Day, we recommend placing your order as early as possible. Typically, the closer florists get to Mother’s Day, the more orders we have and flower supplies quickly run out. If you would like to stay ahead of the game, order your desired flowers in advance to protect against any order complications. Will my flowers be delivered even if no one is home?
If you are sending flowers to your mother or to your home and no one is home, we recommend that you provide additional delivery instructions during the online ordering process. At Acorn Floral, we would be happy to provide the flowers or color of flowers you would like. Please feel free to contact us (206) 852-5586 with further information regarding your request. We can discuss your options in regards to our flower and flower color availability. To secure your preferences or arrangement selection, we advise placing your order as early as possible. During the Christmas season, flower varieties may occasionally run out of stock, and we may have to wait for a delivery truck. If your flowers of choice are available, we would be glad to provide you with that personalization.
Will my flowers be delivered even if no one is home?
Before you place your order online, we recommend that you provide our delivery drivers with additional information if you are aware that you or the one receiving the flowers will not be present. How far in advance should I order flowers for Valentine’s Day?
The sooner you place your order, the better. You can set the day for your delivery on any day in the future. When you place your order and set your future delivery in advance, you secure your selection and prevent placing your order during a time of limited supply. You provide yourself with the assurance that your product choice will be able to be filled when the time comes.
The later your order is placed, the riskier your chances are to receive the exact florals you desire. During an order-dense period of time, such as Valentine’s Day, specific flower supplies run low or go out of stock, and the shop relies upon a new shipment to come in. This often results in flower substitutions to fill an order.
